Author Biography

Marc Aronson and Marina Budhos are a team, much in the spirit of Robert Capa and Gerda Taro. Their first joint book, Sugar Changed the World, was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Award and the YALSA Award for Excellence in Nonfiction for Young Adults.

Marc writes a monthly column for School Library Journal on nonfiction for younger readers, and is the author of the award-winning Sir Walter Ralegh and the Quest for El Dorado. Marina is both a fiction and nonfiction author. Her young adult book Ask Me No Questions was an ALA Best Book and a Notable. They live in New Jersey with their two sons.
