Summary

Fairly Obsessive is a collection of essays which reflect the breadth and versatility of Kinsella's interests: in the land, in hyperspace, in music, in philosophy, in politics and in poetry, fiction and drama. The contributors come from Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and Canada. Some of the articles are academic, some are reviews and others are original experiments in the art of the essay. This mixture is a good example of the sort of cultural hybridising that Kinsella puts at the centre of his own work.
