Summary

There is no doubt of the importance of understanding the physics and chemistry of fillers to optimize the performance of filled plastics, polymers, rubbers and adhesives, mainly in the filed of the nanotechnology. this book provides an interesting contribution to the existing literature by adding current less explored knowledge of fillers and their implications in formulations. Most of the contributions compiled in this book relate to filler-polymer interactions mainly for nanocomposites, and some contributions were devoted to the role of fillers in adhesion. This volume will provide a reference publication for all those interested in filler-polymer interactions and fillers' performance in polymeric systems.
