Author Biography

James Swallow is an award-winning writer of over forty-five books. For Black Library, he is best known as the author of a multiple Horus Heresy novels, including Fear to Tread and Nemesis, which both reached the New York Times bestseller lists, and the novels The Flight of the Eisenstein and Garro, which both follow the exploits of former Death Guard battle-captain Nathaniel Garro. For Warhammer 40,000, he has four Blood Angels novels to his name, the audio drama Heart of Rage and two Sisters of Battle novels. His short fiction has been included in the anthologies Tales of Heresy and Space Marines: The Omnibus. He lives and works in London.
