The American Senior Golf Association consisted of 900 men. Twenty four men are selected annually for the International Team. One year the team plays the Europeans for the King Leopold Cup, the next year they play the Japanese for the Prince Nabashima-Quittner Trophy. Managing 24 men and their wives and the golf matches is more than one man can handle. Fortunately I had four men who helped me 'stay the course' during my years as Captain from 1985 - 1993.
