Author Biography

Deborah Hay is Clinical Tutor for Laboratory Medicine at the University of Oxford, and honorary consultant haematologist at Oxford University hospitals where she focuses on laboratory haematology and diagnostics. She has a DPhil in molecular haematology and a Masters degree in health education.

Andrew King is Wellcome Trust Clinal Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, where he also obtained degrees in physiology and medicine.

Michael Desborough is a Locum Consultant Haematologist and acting Lead Clinician for venous thromboembolism prevention at the Oxford Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre laboratory.
