Author Biography

JULIETTE GOGGIN, co-author of the immensely successful Handmade Beauty, initially trained in the fragrance industry creating her own range of candles and soaps. She now runs a consultancy company specializing in product development for cosmetics and home fragrance and is a regular speaker at cosmetic industry seminars. Juliette also runs craft classes from her home in East Sussex, teaching homemade skincare, jewellery design and candle-making. She appeared in two series of Superscrimpers on Channel 4, and also presented the series Superscrimpers’ Challenge in 2013. She is the co-author of Junk Genius, published in 2012.

ABI RIGHTON, co-author of Handmade Beauty with Juliette, is a respected cosmetic scientist. She has almost 40 years’ experience in formulating beauty products, including for The Body Shop, and runs her own business offering cosmetic formulations based on natural ingredients and new technologies. Her services are sought by premium skincare, haircare and spa brands worldwide.
