Summary

The aim of this new text is to provide a concise introduction to HRM that will be relevant to business studies students taking only one compulsory course in the subject and who are likely to become general and line managers, rather than HR specialists. To this end, the book places less emphasis on theoretical discussion of the subject and more specialist areas of HRM, concentrating rather on the core topics and the interrelationship between human resourcing specialists and line managers.
