Zach Hanner lives in Wilmington and works as a freelance writer, actor and musician. In his spare time he writes and directs children’s theater and is an avid surfer.

 

Pam Watson has been a freelance writer for more than 28 years. Her articles have appeared in numerous publications and she has written several travel guides. She lives in Shallotte. 

 

Rebecca Pierre has lived on Oak Island since 1992. She is a freelance writer working for a variety of publications and she is also a poet and artist.

 

Kate Walsh has lived in Surf City on Topsail Island for 13 years. A former television producer, she is a freelance writer and is currently pursuing her master of fine arts degree in creative nonfiction.
