Author Biography

Christopher Denise is the illustrator of many critically acclaimed books for young readers including Anika Denise’s Bunny in the Middle, Alison McGhee’s Firefly Hollow, Rosemary Wells’ Following Grandfather, and Betsy Devany’s Lucy’s Lovey, as well as several in Brian Jacques’s award-winning Redwall series. His books have appeared on the Indie Next List, the New York Times bestsellers list, and have been recognized by Bank Street College of Education, Parents’ Choice Foundation, and the Society of Illustrators Annual Exhibition, among others. Knight Owl marks his author-illustrator debut. He lives in Rhode Island.
