Summary

Many studies have shown that spiritual practices can make people happier and healthier. In this pioneering book, Rupert Sheldrake demonstrates how science confirms seven practices that are essential in the majority of religions and that form part of our common human spirit: meditation, gratitude, connections with nature, relationships with plants, rituals, song, and pilgrimages to sacred places.
