Summary

Law for Business is a practical, non-technical introduction to business law that emphasizes current and relevant topics for business transactions. Basic business law concepts are covered without the excessive theory that often makes the law seem incomprehensible. The substantial breath of this book, laden with numerous examples and cases, is an effective introduction to a variety of legal topics.
-- Every case example, problem, and summary is from an actual U.S. court case that might be familiar to the reader.
-- Computer Law, Sexual Harassment, ADA, FMLA, and LLP and LLC coverage are effectively discussed.
-- Real documents from the Quicken Business Law Partner offer samples of forms and letters used in common business transactions.
-- Internet addresses included at the end of each chapter reference rich business and legal resources on the World Wide Web.
