Author Biography

Esther Coombs is a professional illustrator living and working in rural Hampshire in the UK. She is best known for drawing buildings, sometimes on ceramics, from grand cityscapes to intimate studies of individual rural structures. However, she also draws domestic objects and more organic ‘natural’ subjects such as animals, plants and people (even, occasionally, the Queen). Recent clients include: National Gallery Company, Lark Books USA, Kyle Books UK, LK Bennett, High Tea of High Gate, Somerville Scarves, Anthropologie, The Southbank Centre's Shop, Nicole Farhi, The Barbican Association and numerous private commissions.
