Summary

On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, around 65 international artists delved into the progressive ideas of Martin Luther. As a radical visionary, Luther initiated both religious and social reform processes. But where do we stand 500 years later? The present volume opens a broad spectrum of artistic positions revolving around the themes of freedom, individuality, resistance, and risk.
