Isaiah 26:3-4 You will keep Him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for Yah, the Lord is everlasting strength. Problems and personal trails are God's way of shaping and molding His children into the perfect image of the Lord Jesus Christ. During the trial God allows His children to see firsthand how and Whom we seek to resolve crises. Who do we love and trust the most? Do we automatically enter into our prayer closet and talk with God the Father for His righteousness, or do we consider worldly wisdom. Is God first in your life? Seeking God first is imperative because it shows God that we love and honor Him. It's a way of acknowledging God, and showing Him that He is welcome in our lives to lead, guide and instruct. John 14:16-17: And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever. The Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him or knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of Truth has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak of His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. The importance of receiving the Holy Spirit is so that you can tap into the divine intervention of God's power to assist you in time of need. The Holy Spirit is the third part of God, which abides in you to give you direct wisdom and strength straight from the throne of God. When a pastor, evangelist, deacon, or a minister is not available to help, you can communicate with God by His free gift of the Holy Spirit. You can communicate with God by and for yourself. If you have not received this free gift from God the Father, ask Him and He will give it to you. Psalm 71:19-24 Also your righteousness, O God, is very high, You who have done great things: O God, who is like You? You who have shown me great and severe troubles, shall revive me again, and bring me up from the depths of the earth. You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side. Also with the lute I will praise You. And Your faithfulness, O my God! To You I will sing with the harp, O holy one of Israel. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to you, and my soul, which you have redeemed. Your part is to give God sweet praise and worship, while He is hastily performing His word in your life. When Jesus Christ is the Lord of your life and you have accepted Him whole-heartedly, He has the power to raise your dead situation to life, as it pleases Him. When you receive a negative report such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, termination, divorce, failing grades etc., know that the Lord Jesus Christ has the power to raise it up again! Our part as Christians is to believe God! Psalm 119:25, 28 & 50: My soul clings to dust; revive me according to your word. My soul melts from heaviness; strengthen me according to your word. This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has given me life.
