Author Biography

Mark Thompson long ago figured out he was put on earth to do two things: race motorcycles and write about racing motorcycles.  He’s raced thousands of motocross laps in a dozen states, along with enduros, hare scrambles, ice racing, and roadracing.  Today, he competes in both modern and vintage motocross events.  He’s been a contributor to dozens of publications, editor of two motorcycle magazines and publisher of another, as well as Managing Editor for Readers’ Digest Special Interest Publications. A lifetime jock, gym rat, and coach, he’s completed 10 marathons and hundreds of other running races.  Originally from Wisconsin, he now lives in West Chester, Ohio.
