Author Biography

IRENE MATYS is a farm-to-table advocate, recipe developer, blogger, food stylist, and photographer. She is a regular contributor to LCBO’s Food and Drink magazine and The Globe and Mail. Irene is a proud Greek Cypriot who immigrated to Canada in 1976 as a refugee. Her love and passion for farm-to-table cooking comes from her family's history as olive growers, olive oil producers, and farmers in Cyprus. She lives in Oakville with her husband and daughters.
