Michèle Dufresne, Ph.D., a literacy staff developer for Pioneer Valley Books, has been a classroom teacher, language arts specialist, a Reading Recovery® teacher leader, and consultant in school districts across Massachusetts and the nation. She is the author of several literacy professional resource guides and books for teachers including Word Solvers: Making Sense of Letters and Sound and numerous children’s books, including Bella and Rosie, Jasper the Cat, and Spaceboy stories published by Pioneer Valley Books
