Author Biography

KOICHI USAMI has been studying on social policies and welfare states in Latina America and Asia. His major works are: Comparative Study of Social Security Systems in Asia and Latin America: A Contribution to the Study of Emerging Welfare State' in The Developing Economies, Vol. XLII No.2 ,2004; 'Latin American Social Security Reform in the 1990s' (Junji Nakagawa ed.)
