Author Biography

Dr. Charles R. Chaffin (Washington, DC) is Director of Academic Programs and Initiatives for the CFP Board. His focus is on innovation in knowledge generation, thought leadership, and educational impact with expertise in cognition, attention, and areas associated with human behavior. He envisioned and implemented a set of initiatives that builds the foundation for a profession, including a research conference, journal, and knowledge center designed to serve an entire workforce. In his four previous books, Chaffin took complex topics and research and made them accessible to a broader population.
