Author Biography

Liane Enkelis has been a photo-journalist for over twenty years. She has worked regularly with numerous publications, including Business Week, Forbes, The Smithsonian Magazine, Time, U. S. News & World Report, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, Black Enterprise, and Electronic Business. She is coauthor of On Our Own Terms: Portraits of Women Business Leaders.


Karen Olsen is a graphic designer who has designed for corporate identity programs, annual reports, sales and marketing materials, corporate publications, and books. Her clients include Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard, LSI Logic, Pacific Bell, and Sybase. She is coauthor of On Our Own Terms: Portraits of Women Business Leaders.
Marion Lewenstein is a professor of communication at Stanford University. Before joining academia, she had a long career as a journalist working with numerous publications including Time, Sports Illustrated, Fortune, Women's Wear Daily, Money, London Sunday Times, The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and The San Jose Mercury News. She is coauthor of On Our Own Terms: Portraits of Women Business Leaders.
