Flat, dull landscapes can be changed into vibrant scenes full of life with sunlight and shadows; distance can be enhanced by placing warm colours in the foreground and cool colours in the background; foreground detail and soft background images can lead your eye into a picture. Author Biography

Geoff Kersey is an experienced watercolourist and is much in demand as a teacher and demonstrator. He lives and works in Derbyshire where he has a studio, and he exhibits extensively. He has made two watercolour videos and contributes to various art publications.
