Author Biography

Amy S. Hilliard is the owner of three businesses: The Hilliard Group, Sugarless Sweetness, LLC, and The ComfortCake Company. As principal of The Hilliard Group, a strategic marketing consulting firm since 1995, her Fortune 500 clients have included Nielsen, Pandora Jewelry, IBM, BET, American Express, HBO, The Art Institute of Chicago, and PepsiCo among others. In 2001, Hilliard founded The ComfortCake Company®. The company commercialized Ms. Hilliard's own recipes for a variety of pound cakes, and now licenses the intellectual property and spun off Sugarless Sweetness®, a patent-pending proprietary sugar substitute into a separate company. Hilliard was formerly Ms. Hilliard the president of Fashion Fair Cosmetics, the global legacy prestige cosmetics company for women of color, and as SVP of marketing for L'Oréal's Soft Sheen division, her team launched two multi-million dollar brands in one year.
