Christoph Lees, MD, MRCOG, BSc is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge, England. His main professional interest is in dealing with high-risk pregnancies, and he has edited the well-known textbook Obstetrics by Ten Teachers. Grainne McCartan, RGN, RM, BscHons, MA worked as a general nurse in Northern Ireland and as a midwife in London. She is a qualified reflexologist, family planning nurse, and aromatherapist. Having first-hand experience of the myths and confusion surrounding pregnancy, she is ideally placed to give the answers that help women and their partners understand pregnancy and childbirth.
