FRANKIE Y. BAILEY is an associate professor in the School of Criminal Justice, University at Albany. Bailey is the author of mysteries as well as non-fiction titles that explore the intersection of crime, mystery, and African-American history. Bailey is a Macavity Award-winner and has been nominated for Edgar, Anthony, and Agatha awards. She is a leader in the mystery community, as well as the president of Sisters in Crime and a member of the Bouchercon 2013 (Albany) planning committee.
