Author Biography

Author Norman Makous, M.D., is a respected cardiologist and served on the faculties at The University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson University Medical schools. He also received a Distinguished Achievement Award from the American Heart Association. His late wife Dorothy passed away in 2003 after an 11-year battle with chronic illnesses.
