Summary

The third book in the Rookie Yearbook series, this jumbo, full-color compilation features the best of Rookie (rookiemag.com) from the 2013-2014 year, plus exclusive-to-print content from a dizzying array of celebrity artists and writers, all curated and art-directed by Rookie’s extraordinary editor-in-chief, Tavi Gevinson.

Rookie is an independent online magazine made by and for young women. It was created by Tavi Gevinson in 2011, when she was just fifteen years old; today, about a third of the magazine's staff are teenage writers, photographers, and illustrators. Six days after its debut, the site hit one million page views. Now it is the must-read publication for hundreds of thousands of young women all over the world, for whom the Rookie Yearbooks are the ultimate collector’s item.

Yearbook Three features personal essays; advice about style, sex, friends, and school; DIY projects; playlists; gorgeous photo albums; contributions from cultural icons and influencers; humor and pathos; and explorations of feminism, junk food, and everything in between—a portal into everything young women think about and care about, and the perfect gift for daughters, sisters, and super cool friends.
