Author Biography

Sandra W. Evans has over 25 years of experience in all facets of human resource and financial management. Her background includes both for profit and non-profit companies including Litton Industries, American Express, First Data Corporation and Standard & Poor's, a division of the McGraw-Hill Companies, as well as the New Mexico Educational Assistance Foundation (NMEAF) and Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC). Her educational and business credentials combine a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with progressive levels of management experience as Manager, Director, Vice President (VP), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Executive Vice President (EVP). Ms. Evans is the published author of the Rx for Business series, with two previous books: Qualitivity (2006), about quality and productivity, and Thinkivity (2008), about vision, strategy and innovation. Ms. Evans created the Rx for Retirement series in 2010 and is currently writing another book in the series, Boomer's Guide to Memoir Writing, about the importance of recording memories but also about discovering how you will be remembered and what you leave behind.
