Author Biography

<p>Gulu Ezekiel (born 1959) is one of India's most prolific sports journalists and the author of 16 books as well as a contributor to many more. He began his career with Indian Express, Chennai in 1982 before moving to New Delhi in 1991. He was Sports Editor at Asian Age, NDTV and indya.com besides stints in The Pioneer, Financial Express and Outlook. Since turning freelance in 2001 his byline has appeared in over 100 publications in India and around the world. <br>Ezekiel has authored four books for Penguin India and Puffin and this is the fourth edition of his best-selling Sachin. His other books include Sourav: A Biography; The Penguin Book of Cricket Lists; Captain Cool: The MS Dhoni Story and Myths and Mysteries: Indian Sport Behind the Headlines.<br>He lives in Delhi, surrounded by books, music and his sports memorabilia collection.</p>
