Safe:, is a collection of poems that were drawn from different places. The people in my life are the reason that these poems were created. I had many conversations on the topic of Love, self and wonder, and I used words that stood out to me and I composed different topics and perspectives. Love is always explained as this ethereal and light subject. In this collection it does not just focus on the delicacy of love it speaks about the complications, the moments when you feel lost, moments where you are completely alone in the feeling of it. I wanted to shine a light and speak from a perspective of the silent thoughts that people feel about love.

Author Biography

Ali Al-Arithy, was raised in Detroit, Michigan. He was always fascinated by emotions and used emotions in order to express himself. He holds a B.A in English and Music from The University of Michigan. His poetry is drawn from travel, family and friends, and conversation.
