Summary

Screaming Monkeys is a collaborative work designed by fiction writer M. Evelina Galang, poet Eileen Tabios, scholar Sunaina Maira, artist Jordin Isip, and spokenword activist and graphic artist Anida Yoeu Esguerra. Like the editors of this anthology, the contributors of Screaming Monkeys speak from various communities of writers, artists, scholars, and activists as well as from different ethnic communities in an effort to illustrate the diverse and often disparate perspectives of and within Asian America as well as the multiple histories integral to understanding America.
