Excerpts

Callea Green looked at her parents guiltily. She could tell they were angry. She was never bad, ever. She was a goody-two shoes as her bratty little brother Liam called her. First, lets get you guys caught up on why her parents are giving her, what she and Liam liked to call, the death glare. When Calli was 3, an agent who thought she was absolutely adorable spotted her at an outlet store. So, she gave Arianna, Calli's mother, her card. Later that same week, they booked Calli an audition with a show called Behind Enemy Lines. The show took off immediately, but Arianna and Maxwell, Calli's father, wanting little Calli to have a normal life as well, gave her a new identity; Alyessa Marz. 'Alyessa' was a complete success. Everyone thought she was utterly adorable; People Magazine even called her the next Michelle Tanner. Almost everyone on the cast loved the 3 year old. Everyone except Elizabeth Montgomery. She was Calli's age, and was playing her fraternal twin on the show. She was always jealous of Calli, and her 'cuteness'. She despised her. And truth be told, after a little while, Calli started to hate her back. Whenever they were playing, Elizabeth used to pull on Calli's hair, making her cry, and then get Elizabeth in trouble. Even though the girls were both 16 now, they still had a rivalry going on between them. Unfortunately for Calli, she also had another sworn enemy at school. Brianna Anderson, even though the two used to be best friends, everything changed when they were 12. Calli had made the mistake about not telling Brianna about her double life, and she found out. Brianna had been planning a surprise visit to show Calli what she had gotten for their school trip to New York City. But, she had come in at the wrong time, catching Calli in the middle of an interview, and Calli couldn't run after her. Now Calli had a new best friend, Emily Grace James. But back to why Calli's parents were giving her the 'death glare'. It all started on Friday. Calli had been at school, at her locker waiting for the bell to ring, when Emily had excitedly run up to her. "Calli!!" She exclaimed excitedly, stopping at the blonde's locker. They quickly hugged before Emily retracted, and looked Calli straight in the eye. "What, are you doing today?" Calli thought about it for a second. She was going to a photo shoot for Behind Enemy Lines, but she couldn't tell Emily that, her mother and agent would kill her if she did. "Uhm, I'm busy." She instantly felt guilty when she saw how disappointed Emily looked. "Why, what's up?" "Oh." She muttered. I was just going to tell you something about Brianna but, your busy, oh well. She shrugged and turned around to leave, before Calli pulled her back, boring her purple eyes into Emily's brown ones. "Brianna? What about Brianna?" She asked suspiciously, raising a perfectly tweezed eyebrow. She watched Emily smirk, as she tugged her arm out of Calli's strong grip. "Nothing. You're too busy, I'll just tell you tomorrow, at my house." Calli groaned in frustration, stomping her flat clad foot on the polished and scratched floor, "Em! You know I hate when you do that!" Emily just smirked harder, before turning around to walk away. "I know! See you later!"
