Melissa M. Burnham, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of Early Childhood Education & Child Development in the Department of Human Development & Family Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno, and Director of Graduate Studies at the Department of Human Development & Family Studies.

Jennifer Lawler, Ph.D., is a former university English professor who now teaches in the Biomedical Writing Program at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and edits the quarterly magazine of the American Taekwondo Association, ATA World.
