Author Biography


Maria Cristina Pagni is a Partner, at Norton Rose, in Milan and is the Head of the litigation and arbitration department. Prior to joining Norton in 2001 she was a Partner at Clifford Chance, Milan (5 years). She specializes in national and international commercial law, financial services, insurance and reinsurance, aviation and rail.
Simona Grossi is LL.M. and JSD candidate at University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. She teaches Comparative Civil Procedure at Golden Gate University and is Senior Associate at Bonelli Erede Pappalardo Law Firm, Milan, which has won many awards as top litigation firm. Simona Grossi has practiced as litigator and trial lawyer for 6 years, and has specialized in civil procedure, comparative civil procedure, civil litigation and complex civil litigation. She has written extensively in the field of company proceedings on Le Societa, one of the top Law Reviews in Italy.
