Author Biography

Thomas S. Poetter is an Associate Professor of Curriculum in the Department of Educational Leadership at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He is the author or coauthor of numerous journal articles on curriculum, teacher education, teacher research, and school reform as well as several books. Thomas L. Goodney holds an M.A. in Speech from Miami University and is a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Leadership at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He is the principal at Fairbanks High School in Milford Center, Ohio. Jennifer L. Bird holds a B.A. and an M.A. in English Education from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She is a former high school English teacher and currently a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Leadership at Miami University.
