Inspired by dinosaurs and the kids who love them, composer and musician Marty Haugen conceived this project with his own grandchildren in mind. Enlisting the help of his son Matt and award-winning illustrator Stephanie Mirocha, this book is filled with vivid illustrations that bring the dinosaurs to life. All the dinosaur facts presented are accurate according to today’s scientific research, and a time line at the end of the book provides even more fun dinosaur trivia. Matt Haugen has written professionally as a journalist and in the nonprofit world. Stephanie Mirocha is an award-winning artist and published poet. She has illustrated three previous children’s picture books. Marty Haugen is a composer with more than 30 recordings. They all live in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
