Summary

To Ogyen Trinley Dorje, all individuals are intrinsically interconnected: as part of their own families, communities, and the entire human race. People need to be mindful of their mutual connectivity so they can become agents of ethical, social, and environmental change. Drawing from his extensive knowledge of Buddhism and his genuine concern for social injustice, this Karmapa explores in detail current issues such as consumerism, human loneliness, animal rights, self-confidence, and the power of compassion.
