Author Biography

Matej Cerný was born in Prague and studied journalism and media communication at Charles University. He translated from English, worked for the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and the human rights organization People in Need. Currently, he works as a copywriter for an international advertising agency in Prague. He loves his city and its mysterious nooks, and is forever enraptured by Prague's magic.Marie Perinová studies journalism and political science in Prague. Despite her international activities and trips to Cuba and Myanmar, she moved back to Prague. She founded and led the press department of the human rights organization People in Need. For several years, she has worked in a leading position in the communications department of the NGO Open Society Fund (George Soros) in Prague.
