Author Biography

Anne-Louise Barton has been a bookseller for the past 20 years, both in the new and second-hand book trade, and has recently taken over from her father as a partner at The Winchester Bookshop. Elizabeth Hill-Goulding has worked in children’s publishing and on a national magazine. She moved from Bristol to Winchester in 1994 and spent a brief spell working at Winchester University. In recent years Elizabeth has taken a keen interest in local history and this has led her to work in collaboration with her cousin, Anne-Louise Barton.
