Summary

Journalist Peter Lomass is enjoying a break from work, traveling and revisiting old haunts, when he discovers a poem entitled "The Shootout at Dogleg Crossing" on a newspaper clipping from 20 years earlier pinned up in a hotel reception area. He decides to trace the origins of the poem and his quest takes him deep into Mexico where finds himself mixed up in all sorts of skulduggery and danger.

Author Biography

P.J. Gallagher served in the British Army. He has written close to 20 articles for The Journal of the Royal Artillery, competed for the past 20 years in Cowboy Action Shooting, and is a collector of antique firearms. He lives in Woodville, Ontario.
