Author Biography

Emma Blomfield runs interior design firm Emma Blomfield Studio in Sydney. With a focus on residential and boutique commercial projects, the EB Studio team create fun, authentic and real spaces for clients to live, work and play.

Emma has worked in the interiors industry as a property stylist, homewares buyer and interior designer for 15+ years. After working for other studios for a number of years, Emma started her own business in 2011 with a focus on online decorating – also known as e-decorating and pioneered making interior design accessible, affordable and available via the web to homeowners and renters across Australia.

EB Studio works on a wide range of projects from inner city bachelor pads, large scale family home renovations, downsizers, investment properties and full turnkey interior decorating fit outs.

Emma is regularly asked to speak at trade fairs and consumer events as well as hosting her own decorating workshops across the country. These workshops show homeowners how to decorate their homes and apply the principles of decorating used day to day in the studio to their own homes.
Emma has authored Home (2017) & Keeping House (2019) previously with Hardie Grant.
