Summary

When a villain uses a very powerful weapon in Metropolis, Clark and Lois trace him back to an old town called INFINITE CITY. They find the town abandoned, except for a doorway that leads to another amazing world.... the true INFINITE CITY, where magic and science happily coexist. Superman and Lois step through the magic portal and become embroiled in a war for power on the other side. One faction wants to stay in its dimension, and another wants to branch out to our world. Superman will meet a doppelganger called the Warden, who shares the Kryptonians might but not his intellect. He will also come across the architect of this world, a robot leader who claims to be what remains of his father Jor-El.

Author Biography

Mike Kennedy began writing in 1992, with the self-published serialized novella That Chemical Reflex. Other than various articles written for such cyber-generation magazines as Mondo2000 and Axcess Magazine, his first professional comic gig came in 1999, writing the adventures of Dark Horse's sexy spectral, vigilante hero, Ghost. This was followed by a Ghost/Batgirl crossover with DC Comics, and a number of Star Wars books, including Underworld (with Carlos Meglia) and Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan: The Aurorient Express. The success of these books led to the creation of a new franchise for Dark Horse entitled Lone Wolf 2100, a futuristic reimagining of the classic Japanese samurai series "Lone Wolf and Cub." His most recent work includes Alien Vs Predator: Thrill of the Hunt and its upcoming sequel, Civilized Beasts. He is also writing Aeon Flux for Dark Horse and MTV, which will lead into this fall's live action blockbuster starring Charlize Theron. Full-time, Mike has spent the last 14 years developing video games for such publishers as Namco, Activision, and 3DO. He now lives near Chicago, Illinois, designing and directing narrative game play material for software super-giant Electronic Arts. Born in Quilmes, Argentina, in 1957, Carlos Meglia began his career at 18 collaborating with the artist Oswal doing illustrations for El Pendulo. This was followed by work for Editorial Record on a children's Bible and covers for the titles Martin Fierro and El Quijote. He also did illustrations in Italy for Bang, Satiricon, Billiken and El Grafico. He eventually went on to work with the European branch of Hanna-Barbera for three years on new animated versions of Bible stories. He's also worked for Warner Bros. Animation as a layout artist for the Batman cartoon headed by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm. This all led to the creation of the comic Cybersix with Carlos Trillo, which was produced as Anime on television. In 1995, he received the Caran d'Ache Prize in Rome, Italy for Cybersix. His comic book work in the U.S. includes Star Wars: Underworld, Superman/Tarzan, The Adventures of Superman, Monster World, Elektra, Spy Boy, and Crimson: Scarlet X Blood on the Moon.
