Author Biography

Andrew Clements taught in the public schools outside Chicago for seven years. He is the author of Frindle, the Christopher Award—winning bestseller that has also won close to twenty kid–voted state awards, as well as The Janitor’s Boy, The School Story, Room One, and the New York Times bestsellers The Landry News and Lunch Money. He lives in Westborough, Massachusetts, with his wife and four children.

Mark Elliott has illustrated many picture books and novels for young readers, including Lost and Found by Andrew Clements and Dexter the Tough by Margaret Peterson Haddix. He lives in New York’s Hudson River Valley.
