Author Biography

Larry Jordan is an award-winning producer, director, editor, teacher and trainer who’s been involved in the media industry for 50 years. He’s produced, directed or edited at local broadcast TV stations and in US network television, and has extensive experience in corporate and training video. As a teacher, he focuses on media, marketing, communication, and the art of visual persuasion. Based in Los Angeles, he has taught at USC for over a decade, and is a member of both the Directors Guild of America and Producers Guild of America. He has been recognized as a “Digital Video Industry Innovator” by Digital Video magazine and “Top Corporate Producer” by AVVMM magazine. Jordan has written ten books, thousands of technical articles, hundreds of hours of online training, and was executive producer and host of Digital Production BuZZ, a weekly audio podcast devoted to digital video production and post-production, as well as 2 Reel Guys, a video podcast about the aesthetics of visual storytelling.
