Summary

Eight-year-old Zack and eleven-year-old Taylor are an adventurous and intelligent brother-and-sister pair who lead a normal American suburban life with their parents. One day, while vacationing at the beach, they find a mysterious box buried in the sand that contains a telescope, but it's not just any telescope. This telescope will allow them to travel to worlds far beyond that of their comfortable suburban one and will show them firsthand what other humans have only dreamed of seeing. Author Biography

Peter A. Oppenheim is an avid astrophotographer whose photographs have been featured in major magazines such as Astronomy and Time Off. He is the author of The Telescope Travelers Escape the Black Hole. He lives in Prescott, Arizona.
