Excerpts

TRUE HUMANITYIN SURGE OF UNSWERSWe live in a world that if it is beautiful physically, but is corrupt and ugly morally and spiritually, and that is not being pessimistic for to say the contrary it would be like burying my head in the sand and pretend that everything is ok around me.The common goal of humanity is to achieve happiness, and everybody does it in the way that seems to them to be the best way. To some, happiness is to have lots of money but they do not think about all the complications that money brings with it, to others achieving a perfect body is happiness, but they cannot stop the aging process and diseases, yet to others happiness is to be able to achieve all the goals they set for themselves but at the end they see that everything is vanity, it seems to me that happiness is to this world like a group of people trapped in a dark room end everybody is trying to find the door to get out of this dark room and see the light but nobody is finding it. The question is, is it possible to achieve happiness? To fine the answer to the question, we will be discussing and reasoning about many things that concern humans. Let's start by talking about our wants and needs; there is a big difference between the two of them and many people fail to see the difference, the difference is very obvious, needs are things that as humans we must have for our survivor, and wants are things that we can live without but that we would like to have. How is it then that people get them confuse? It all depends in your upbringing and the values that you grew up with, that is where everything gets complicated because every family is different and have different values, even within the same culture of the same country, different social status plays a big role as to what you became as an adult. Unless you personally became interested in discovering the meaning of life you will go through life lost and confused in the matter of happiness. There are many movements and philosophies that try to explain the meaning of life, but they all fault short because they are simply thoughts of men that in their quest for an answer they think they had a revelation of the meaning of life.Where can we look for an answer? Could we look into politics? Religion? If we look into politics our point of view could be distorted because we would be basing our opinions according to our experience in life, but our experience in life could be limited by our years that we have lived, the education that we have received or even by the examples we have learned from the people we grew up with, and every culture have their own opinion as to what is right or wrong, who is to set the standards for how a human should live? Many people look into religion for an answer, but who is to say what religion is the correct one out of thousands of religions that we have in the world? Many people solve this problem by saying that all religions are acceptable to God the creator of this world that we live in. But there is being so many disappointments in the field of religion that many people have stopped believing in God. As a result of all these confusion we have the society that we live in today, confusion everywhere you look. Many people don't even believe in God. Is it wise to believe in God?
