From the outset, he knows that this novel will be titled The Innocent Killer and that it will oblige him to contact people who used to be his best friends.
1996. At the age of 19, Zack arrives at the University of Lund ready for adventure. He enrolls in a writing course led by the alluring Professor Li Karpe. The professor chooses to introduce Zack and three of his classmates to Leo Stark, an enigmatic, manipulative writer who both fascinates and repulses them. But one night, Leo Stark disappears and the dreams of the four young people become nightmares.
