Author Biography

Derek Stanley is a retired Chester GP who has always been interested in local history, collecting postcards and old photographs for many years. He previously compiled books on Dublin and Wicklow for the’ Images of Ireland’ series, and has now created this very special book on his home town, which will be enjoyed by everybody who knows and loves the City of Chester.
