L.J. Smith did not write this book a ghostwriter did
May 19, 2011
Alloy (the book packaging company) will not let L.J. Smith write the books. They took what she created and gave it to someone else. She has fought long and hard to get back her books, but they won't budge. What they did was perfectly legal because there was a "for hire" clause in her contract. Just because something is legal doesn't make it right. I just want everyone to know what is going on, so that they can make an informed decision about who they support and how they will spend their money.
