Windows 2000 is the new operating system from Microsoft. Windows 2000 includes three types of server software: Windows 2000 Server (for workgroups and small networks); Windows 2000 Advanced Server (for larger enterprises and networks); and Windows 2000 Datacenter Server (for heavy-duty serving; for example, ISPs).
